Information we collect

We may collect contact information, vehicle and dealer transaction details, uploaded quotes or screenshots, financing terms you provide, purchase outcome information, device and browser data, and payment status. Payment-card details are handled by the payment processor and are not intended to be stored by OTD Guard.

Sensitive information

Do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, bank credentials, full credit reports, medical information or unrelated sensitive personal information. If a dealer document contains unnecessary sensitive data, redact it before submission when practical.

How we use information

We use information to provide deal analysis, support customers, prevent abuse, improve scoring and normalization, measure product performance, and create aggregated or de-identified market benchmarks. Personal contact information is not intended to be included in public price comparisons.

Uploaded documents

Uploaded documents may contain names, addresses, VINs or financing details. Customer quote documents are stored in access-controlled private cloud storage. OTD Guard retains raw customer documents only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve support issues, prevent abuse and meet legitimate recordkeeping obligations, after which they may be deleted or de-identified.

Service providers

OTD Guard uses service providers including Vercel for hosting and private document storage, Stripe for payment processing, ZeptoMail for transactional email, and OpenAI for automated document analysis and source-assisted report generation. Uploaded quote content and the deal details needed to analyze it may be transmitted to these processors. Those providers process information under their own terms, security controls and data-handling policies.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your submission, subject to applicable legal and operational retention requirements. Redact unnecessary identity and banking information before upload.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service, processors or retention practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
